Through lived experience, we are able to explore issues faced by minority groups within the multiple complex needs community, including LGBT issues.
“We are uniquely placed as a group of people with lived experience of service use to advice and guide on the needs of service users”.
NECG UK meets quarterly, allowing our regional Expert Citizen groups to share knowledge, discuss current issues and advocate systems change that improves service delivery.
All of our regional NECG groups work in partnership with key service providers across mental health, substance misuse and addiction, homelessness and offending behaviour.
NECG UK provides valuable lived experience insight into public policy and service delivery. We are available for research and consultation opportunities on all issues around multiple complex needs.
